Six Awesome Firefox Plugins

Six-Awesome-Firefox-PluginsIf you have been doing Internet Marketing for some time, you will understand that any tool that is free and saves you time is worth its weight in gold.  My favourite plugins that save me time are:

  • SEO Quake – This gem of a plugin lets you check out page title, keywords, description, page rank, backlinks, keyword density, anchor text and much more all at the click of a button. It is great to get an overview of your sites as well as your competitors. It is a Firefox extension aimed primarily at helping web masters who deal with search engine optimization (SEO) and internet promotion of web sites. Seoquake allows to obtain and investigate many important SEO parameters of the internet project under study on the fly, save them for future work, compare them with the results, obtained for other, competitive, projects.Beginner web masters and seos will find SeoQuake useful for estimating effectiveness and competitive ability of their SEO efforts. In the hands of professional SeoQuake will become a powerful and indispensable tool for analyzing optimization and promotion level of internet web-projects.
  • S3Fox – This addon lets you upload your video files directly to your Amazon S3 account. If you have ever used Amazon s3, you will understand that this plugin is quicker and easier to use than Amazon s3. You can also change the file permissions settings with this plugin.
  • Google Global – Another useful plugin allows you to set which country’s search results without letting Google automatically display the search results for the country you actually live in. Google Global allows users to quickly and easily see organic and paid Google search results as they appear in different countries, cities, regions, ZIP codes and IP addresses.
  • ColorZilla –  With ColorZilla you can get a color reading from any point in your browser, quickly adjust this color and paste it into another program. You can Zoom the page you are viewing and measure distances between any two points on the page. The built-in palette browser allows choosing colors from pre-defined color sets and saving the most used colors in custom palettes. DOM spying features allow getting various information about DOM elements quickly and easily. For example, if you are trying to match colours from one site to another then the colour picker will letsyou see the code so you can copy and use the same colour on your own site. I often use this addon when trying to match my optin form with headers.
  • Download Helper – This resource lets you download videos from sites so you can save the files directly to your own computer.  Using download helper is the easy way to download and convert Web videos from hundreds of YouTube-like sites. It works also for audio and picture galleries.
  • NoDoFollow – This simple plugin lets you see no follow and do follow links on various webpages and highlights which links are no follow or do follow.
